Meet Our Staff
Dr. Christina Mozdzierz
Graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. After receiving her DVM degree, she pursued an internship to further advance her training in domestic animal medicine and surgery, which she completed in 2006. She has since practiced in New York and Washington DC, before relocating to the Chicago area with her husband. She joined Hillchester Animal Hospital in November 2014.
While Dr. Mozdzierz enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, she has a particular passion for feline medicine, internal medicine and preventative care. She has been a member of the American Veterinary Association and American Association of Feline Practitioners since 2005 and actively participates in continuing education courses and seminars.
In her free time, she loves spending time with her husband and their two adorable daughters. Since relocating to Chicago, she has enjoyed exploring the theater, museums, restaurants and all the city has to offer. While she has had cats and dogs all of her life, her dear cat, Buttons, has been her close companion since veterinary school.
Dr. Christian Pace, DVM
Dr. Christian Pace started at HillChester in August 2018!!! He’s native of the Sonoma Valley of California, started his career in veterinary medicine as a volunteer in local animal clinics during high school. As an undergraduate at the University of Idaho, he further pursued his interest in animals by studying animal science as well as his interest in history. Dr. Pace graduated from the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Upon graduation, Dr. Pace moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico to work at a private practice. In 2012, he moved to Chicago where he worked again in private practice and at The Anti-Cruelty Society.
When not at work, Dr. Pace enjoys time with his wife and black lab mix, Gibbs. Dr. Pace is the cook in his home and always enjoys preparing meals with a New Mexico vibe. He also enjoys reading and studying history, is a member of the American Veterinary Medical History Society, and working on his model railroad.
Patricia , CVT
Patricia (Patti for short) started with HillChester in July 2018. She has spent the last 15 years working with animals, is a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT), has experience in shelter/rescue work, general practice medicine along with specialty medicine. Patti joined the HillChester team and is looking forward to creating new relationships with our clients and especially patients. In her free time, she loves to have fun adventures with her 6-yr. old daughter (Amelia) and spend time with her own pets. Both Patti and her daughter have a deep love for animals and like to take in an occasional foster pet in need!
Pet Care & Housekeeping
Katheryn started at Hillchester in August 2007. She is a graduate of York High School and lives in Elmhurst.
Kathryn loves animals and has three miniature poodles, Buddie, Bopper, and Buster. She also has a guinea pig named Stuart. She enjoys cooking, knitting, scrapbooking, mosaics, and horseback riding.
